The strategy seems to be working, because Douglas Partners was recently named the Best Provider to Construction & Infrastructure in the 2022 Client Choice Awards. The win represented the 19th time the firm had been nominated as a finalist in the awards over the past 14 years.
Mr Wright said the firm was “delighted to continue our winning streak”.
“It’s particularly pleasing to pick up Best Provider to Construction and Infrastructure again at a time when this sector is of such importance to our community and the national economy,” he said.
In a year that saw 250 firms from across Australia and New Zealand enter the Client Choice Awards, there was hot competition for firms vying for client recognition. More than 15,000 individual pieces of client feedback were submitted for judging.
“The standard of competition seems to continually increase, there are lots of great firms listed as finalist and winners across an ever-increasing range of disciplines,” Mr Wright said.
He added the fact that the Client Choice Awards are decided by client feedback was a strong factor in his decision to consistently enter the awards – even for as long as 14 years.
“These awards are meaningful because they are based on raw unbiased feedback from our clients. The judges are our clients. Who better is there to assess how well be deliver outcomes?” he said.
Mr Wright said he believed his firm also stood out from competition thanks to its strong focus on, investment in and support of highly capable employees.
“It is our people who drive the delivery of great outcomes for our clients, it’s about having highly engaged, technically savvy people who are passionate about providing practical solutions,” he said.
“The win comes from no single feat, it’s a contribution from many and is the culmination of all the little things we do, every day.”
